Live Performance Opportunities

From in-depth training La Voce is committed to providing students with live performance opportunities. At La Voce we believe the sign of a great performer is where their training (techniques) are disguised from the audience. Providing students with a platform to showcase their skills gives them the perfect opportunity to overcome challenges faced by all performers including vocal delivery, emotional investment, stage presence, nervousness, and making sure that the show goes on to the best of their ability. Providing these opportunities allows students to grow into an all-rounded performer.

SevCon School of Singing Concerts

A close affiliate of La Voce, Sevcon School of Contemporary Singing, holds monthly concerts to give students an opportunity to perform regularly. La Voce students are invited to perform at these events throughout the year.

End of Year Showcase: La Voce LIVE

An annual event that students of La Voce work towards all year around. With past shows being held at locations such at Notes (Newtown), Blue Beat (Double Bay), Nida Parade Theatre (Kensington), & Seymour Centre York Theatre & Sound Lounge (Chippendale), these events have attracted some of the music industry's finest.

Each event also see's a music industry representative presenting a VIP award to the outstanding performances of the night. Previous awards have been presented by:

Joe Fidow Australian R&B group Kulcha signed to Warner Music, performed with Boys II Men, Salt N Pepa, Janet Jackson, The Fugees, Kci & Jojo, All 4 One, Kev Hannibal Hand It Over Entertainment, has performed with Brian McKnight, Lil Scrappy, The Game, Twista, Ying Yang Twins, Pitbul, Guy, and won Billboard's 2004 most prestigious artist award, Tushar Apte One-half of international production team The Dualists whose music has been featured in commercials for Apple, Lexus and Lynx, and they've also worked scoring music for a number of upcoming feature films. Tushar has produced and written for the likes of Adam Levine, PJ Morton of Maroon 5, UK multiplatinum group JLS, and local talent including Gary Pinto, Diana Rouvas of The Voice, and Aus Idol winner Damien Leith, DJ Anush Phat Funk Entertainment in Canberra, Promoter, Club & Tour DJ and Radio host, DJ Liche Official member of Mixxbosses Worldwide, Club DJ and radio host of Soul D'Lite on Radio2RDJ, Lewiis Tour manager and A&R talent scout for Right Time Records and Marvellous Artists Development Centre ATL who have been responsible for the development of the likes of Usher, Beyonce, 112, Boyz II Men, & Cody Simpson.

Tickets for La Voce LIVE 2018 will go on sale from 9am on Tuesday 27th November 2018 via the seymour centre website.
Show 1 commences at 6pm, with show 2 starting at 8:30pm.
